This father’s day weekend, fire up dad’s taste buds instead of the grill. Ri Ra Irish Pub has the craving for grilling under control with no work required. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, a 12 oz. grilled new york strip is on special for dad. Served with loaded baked potato, sautéed mushrooms and onions, baked cream spinach and a peppercorn sauce, it is the perfect accompaniment to a shot of Irish whiskey. There may even be some Guinness socks for the old man… if he can hold his liquor.

For a dinnertime feast honoring dad, opt for theveal meatloaf with hand-mashed potatoes or mesquite-smoked pork chopwith creamy grits. Toast dad with a signature cocktail or decadent dessert.

Serving brunch in bed is getting too over-done, so why not have brunch while watching the latest flick at CinéBistro at Town Brookhaven? On Saturday, June 14, and Sunday, June 15, dad can enjoy chef Hector Gomez’s French “connection” toast, steak and eggs or rotating frittata. The American bistro-inspired cuisine and first-run Hollywood film combo gives dad the perfect excuse to settle into the luxurious leather rocking chairs and unwind on a weekend afternoon.
